Empowering women through entrepreneurship in Kilosa
Helping women form and run entrepreneurship groups builds incomes, confidence and resilience for whole families.
Across Kilosa district, TISER supports women to come together in savings and entrepreneurship groups — pooling resources, learning business skills, and backing one another's ventures.
These groups do more than generate income. They give women a stronger voice in their households and communities, and a safety net when times are hard.
From tailoring and food processing to small-scale trade, the businesses these groups launch are modest in size but transformative in impact — keeping children in school and families on their feet.
Investing in women, as the saying goes, means investing in the whole community.
